Alone...

Would you ever want to die alone? By yourself? With no one around you? Isn't that a sad thought? With no loved ones watching you as you breathe your last? No one to hold your hand? No one to watch that smile on your face even if you're happy when you die? Did you know Jesus died on the cross alone, so that you don't have to die alone? He not only suffered and died, but He suffered and died ALONE. He identified.

The good news is, He is alive today. And because He is alive, He can put His hand on your shoulder when you are lonely,.. when you feel alone. He knows you're reading this and He knows the cries of your heart. He sees the literal tears that flow each night. He sees the empty seat next to you when you eat by yourself. He noticed when you walked along the beach the other day, leaving behind only a single set of footprints. He was right beside you when you contemplated ending your life. He was holding your chin and rubbing your cheeks when your parents passed away. He hears everything you told your teddy when you had no friends. He saw you sitting on that swing as a lil kid, hoping someone would give you that push to get the swing going.

And He will be there with you again, tomorrow.
