Assume...

ASSUME is making an ASS out of U and ME.

Too often we assume what we see is what we get. What happens even more often is us assuming a front that hides what is truly inside. Either way, we assume things when it is not actually the case - leading to miscommunication, misunderstandings, reading into things when we shouldn't.

The world would be a better place if we do not assume but seek to understand by asking, even when opinions differ.
