My Heart Will Trust...

How awesome is this song huh? It's in Shout To The Lord 2000, yet it's one of my favorite songs. It's hymnal... it's powerful... It's based on His Word...
and it pops up every now and then in my head.

It speaks about walking thru valleys low, going thru mourning, darkest nights... yet it lifts up your eyes to see His higher way... how He steals our heart...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll walk closer now on the higher way
Through the darkest night will You hold my hand
Jesus guide my way
O You mourn with me and You dance with me
For my heart of hearts is bound to You
Though I walk through valleys low
I'll fear no evil
By the waters still my soul,
My heart will trust in You
My heart will trust in You
O You counsel me and You comfort me
When I cannot see, You light my path
My heart will trust in You
A combi of my favorite verses - Psalm 23 & Proverbs 3:5,6.
