You are amazing, God...

Had this song playing on my mind today. It's songs like these that reminds of the big picture in life, where all that matters is really knowing who God is.. makes me wanna connect with Him again by sitting at His feet. Such an awesome God watching over my shoulder.. it's a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Chris Tomlin - Indescribable

(Verse 1)
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation's revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sing
All exclaiming...

(Chorus)
Indescribable, Uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing God

All powerful, Untameable
Awestruck we fall to our knees and we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

(Verse 2)
Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go,
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow?
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light,
Yet conceals it to give us the coolness of night?
None can fathom...

(Chorus)
Indescribable, Uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing God

All powerful, Untameable
Awestruck we fall to our knees and we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

Incomparable, Unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same
You are amazing God

For those who just got back from Easter Camp, don't lose sight of what God has placed in your heart over the weekend. It doesn't take something emotional to make us realise our God can speak to us and place desires in our hearts. If you've been given much, give that much back to God. If you've been given little, work on the little like your life depended on it. You'll be amazed to see how much more God will give you as you're faithful in little.

I never thought I'd come to this.. being able to lead worship and play in a band, experienced sharing God's love to ppl that were about to commit suicide (I didn't know of cos, it was over the fon.. the fella wanted to jump off Penang bridge every time he went pass it), get involved in leading statewide events, lead spiritual warfares, praying for demonized ppl, etc...

Those things may seem like BIG things.. but in God's eyes, those things are just fulfilling what He has given to me. But all of it started somewhere small.. faithfully going for youth meets, saying hi to an unloved person, washing the church toilet when nobody is watching, arranging chairs, transporting equipment and doing hard work when literally everyone else is enjoying Christmas lunch with their families, holding up a HUGE speaker for minutes just bcos my pastor asked me to, playing a guitar for small funerals, making cards with Bible verses to encourage ppl,.. basically doing things when nobody is watching, and doing things that nobody wants to do. God knows and sees. Doing great things means being the lowest of servants. Sacrificing for others. Saying a simple prayer for someone. Lending a listening ear. Making another person laugh, smile, or cry. These are things that are still the most fulfilling.

God has a plan for you, whoever's reading this. If His plan is for you to wash toilets the rest of your life, do it faithfully. You don't need a big job to store treasures in heaven, you just need to be obedient and be faithful in the little. It's all about the attitude and the heart. So be faithful, run the race He has set before you, especially if He has placed something in your heart over the easter weekend.
