And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. - Ephesians 4:32

One of the major reasons why we don't forgive is because we think the other person will hurt if we don't. The truth is, they won't but we will. Forgiveness is an act of will. Forgiveness is never easy, that I know too well. It's hard for us as fleshly beings to feel like forgiving. It's hard for us as fleshly beings to feel like waking up for school at 6am as well. But we did, and look what good it did to us.

Lord, help me will to forgive, set me free and let my feelings play catch up.
