Have a safe trip home..

After nearly a year of absence going overseas to work, Dawn will finally be returning home from Singapore. As we anticipate her return, I think many of us are preparing our homes, our dinner schedules, our weekly social gatherings, our hearts.. some of you, well, will still be much focused on preparing for your exams.

For those who do not know, Dawn Hu was with us a year or so ago and was very much like one of you students. Attends OCF and does all the weird stuff that we do. She's coming back to pursue her Masters and hopefully this introduction will get y'all ready to discover who this mysterious lady is. She's flying from Singapore on the 20th (this Sunday) and will reach home probably on Monday?

So if you ppl see a new face hanging around some old people in Melbourne in the next few weeks, she's probably not a new face. The old people would probably have some difficulty when she returns, the same problem we have with the Eddies, Matthews, Andrews and Ah Bengs.. we now have Dawns.

B : Which Dawn?
A : The one from Singapore..
B : Ermm.. which Dawn?
A : The one that study Arts leh...
B : Ermm.. which Dawn?
A : The slim and pretty one la..
B : Ermm.. which Dawn?
A : The one with the blog..
B : Ermm.. which Dawn?
A : The one hangout with the College Square people one..
B : Ermm.. which Dawn?

It would be easy if we can just say "Mad Gun's Dawn". But you think Mad Gun so famous meh? Everyone knows Mad Gun meh? And what if they wanna refer to the other Dawn? Refer to her as "The one that is not Mad Gun's Dawn" meh?

Ok, I went into my superhero closet and did some meditation. My superhero powers and intelligent mind came up with a good way of differentiating them. The one thats with Mad Gun shall henceforth be called "Bachelor Dawn", the other shall be crowned "Master Dawn". If y'all have any other suggestions it will be taken into consideration and screened thru by the censorship board.

Diane, Dawn's twin sister will be coming home for a week as well. If you ppl don't already know, this Winter will be historical. When Di leaves, it will be the first time the twins will be away from each other for a long period of time. If you are enthusiastic enough you can hlp us document this on video.. reality TV of a whole new level..

Anyway, welcome home Dawn.. have a safe flight, steal the SIA blanket, get some playing cards, tease the doggy at the customs, try not to be nervous when the officer looks thru your pirated stuff, and most of all.. take a deep first breath of Melbourne air.. we really do look forward to spending time with your cherry PJs again.
